FOB-sponsored skier to represent England in the 2012 World Championships
After successful early season performances, North-West based skier Callum Begg has been selected to represent England in the forthcoming World Student Championships to be held in the Aosta Valley in Italy in March 2012.
Callum has been able to be based in the Austrian training camp in the Zillertal Valley with his Telford Race Team with their coach, Mark Vintner, throughout December that resulted in credible performances in difficult conditions in the British Alpine Championships in Champoluc, Italy, narrowly missing a podium finish in both Slalom and GS events.
Before the World Championships Callum will be competing at the Anglo Scottish Championships in France in January and English Championships in Italy in February.
