FOB going downhill fast!
FOB Design are sponsoring young up and coming North-West ski racer, Callum Begg.
Callum is a Children 2 Alpine racer and is a member of Chill Factore, Manchester, Telford Alpine and Dragons Ski Race Clubs. He is also a member of the English Schools Ski Association (ESSKIA) team.
He is 14 and has been skiing from the age of three and started racing competitively at seven with Snowsports Runcorn.
At the beginning of the 2011-12 season, Callum was second in the British Indoor Ski championships and won the Chill Factore Summer Race Series. He has also had many fine podium finishes through the summer both indoor and outdoor including wins in the first two races of the British Grand Prix Series.
His outdoor race programme took him to Autumn training in Hintertux, The British Alpine Championships in Italy before Christmas, The Anglo-Scottish Championships in Chamonix in January, followed by the English Championships in Italy in February and the World Students Championships in Italy in March where he was the top English Skier, finishing in the top 15 in the world for his age group.
FOB Play are currently involved in a major leisure project, Play Factore, at Britains biggest indoor snow resort, the Chill Factore, Manchester, that was completed for end of the 2011-12 winter ski season.
